Jim Price Chevrolet had a legendary tradition: every customer who bought a Nova off the showroom floor got a send-off from the General Manager himself, who'd hop in, fire it up, and pop the front end off the ground before driving it outside. Mac watched that happen to a silver '69 Nova and told himself he'd own one someday. Decades later, he did better than that he tracked down a silver '69 Nova that was originally sold new at that very same Jim Price Chevrolet in Charlottesville. Mac has owned it for about 7 years, and it has spent much of that time on display inside the McClinton Chevrolet showroom in Parkersburg, WV one of the oldest Chevrolet dealerships in the country, if not the oldest, founded in 1915 by Mac's grandfather and now run by fourth-generation dealer Ginny McClinton.
