Brand new truck had check engine light for emissions. The technician was very thorough and found a factory QC issue with a line still having the factory plug in it. Repaired in less than an hour! Friendly staff. Great mechanics!

Very prompt in updates on progress of vehicle. When they diagnosed the issue, they notify you of the time and repair along with asking your permission to go ahead with the maintenance. Very friendly and personable staff. Highly recommend this service department. Shayne and Caleb were awesome to work with in the sales department, very knowledgeable and thorough when explaining features of the vehicle my wife and I test drove.

Fantastic experience. Alternator went out, Shane in Service handled the warranty claim, Dustin got it swapped out good as new, just had to stop back to pay my deductible and take it home. Easy and efficient.

Shayne's service in providing answers to my questions and sending pictures timely and helpful. I sent my daughter down from Columbus to look and drive the car. It passed her test! So I jumped on a plane and picked it up on Saturday. Ross was great to work with on the financing. Only thing I caught Saturday evening was my deposit had not been credited. I called Shayne Saturday evening and that was all fixed on Monday. ( Also regarding my Sunday voice message I left I believe on Tuesday a got a call back from another sales person from my Sunday message. I told him I was already working with Shayne.) Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Great experience.

I stopped in a few weeks ago to look at a 2017 Silverado. My husband has been looking for with low mileage and a great price. He thought this one could be it. It was my first visit to McClinton Chevrolet. Ed "Moose" Haislop greeted me, he was very nice and extremely helpful. The truck was perfect! Moose did everything right, he made it so easy for me purchase the truck. I had no appointment, I test drove the vehicle twice, went and picked up a check, he reviewed the truck history, pricing, warranty, showed me how to use the onstar and sirrus radio and had me in and out of finance...all in less than 2 hours. It was incredible, my husband didn't even have to go to the dealership. Scoff Morehead was great in finance too. We will be in soon to buy an extended warranty. I would recommend everyone looking for a vehicle to see "Moose" over at McClinton Chevrolet, for a no stress experience. I am still smiling about it.

If you told me a month ago I’d be driving 200 miles to buy a new truck, I’d have called you crazy, but as it turns out, McClinton had the truck in stock with the features I wanted. After talking with Carly, she was able to get everything ready for us so when we arrived it was smooth sailing! My wife and I were very impressed with the dealership, the cleanliness, inventory and more so, the sales girl, Carly. She was very knowledgeable and really seemed to enjoy her job. That makes a huge difference to someone looking to make a major purchase like this, it builds trust. Definitely worth the drive! Bought a 2024 Colorado for when I move to Texas from Sarah. They worked with me on the price and got me an extended warranty that works anywhere in the country. Easy to work with, and as a first time buyer of a new car, they explained things I did not understand. Lastly, Sarah made sure I had first pic on the truck after talking with her and putting a deposit down which saved me a lot of worrying.

When looking for a car, I had no idea I would even look at a Mitsubishi. Mike Beckett showed me an Outlander and I feel in love with it. McClinton Chevrolet has been fantastic to deal with. This is going to be a bit of a different review, because it was a rather unique experience. But I wanted to post this review because of the experience I had, and how McClinton handled the whole situation. First, my wife and I did actually purchase a used F-150 from them. We test drove it, it felt great, and the price seemed fair compared to Kelly Blue Book. The buying experience itself was among the best I've had in my years of buying vehicles. Our salesman Matt, and loan officer Deanna, were both excellent. Not pushy at all, all terms were presented in a very clear and easy to understand way, and I never felt pressured to accept anything that we didn't want. Unfortunately, this is where things went south. And I must stress, I really don't think anyone was at fault, it's just one of those things that happen. The Carfax stated that the truck has been in a minor accident with minimal damage. That wasn't the dealership stating it, that was from Carfax. Sadly, I think that may have been understated by whoever did the accident report on the vehicle. On our way to my in-laws to show them our new truck, the transmission stopped shifting before we even made it there. It was actually about 10 mins after we left. The truck was still drivable, it was an intermittent electrical issue that came and went, but that also prevented it from starting for a while after we shut it off. It may have been unrelated to the damage, a technical issue with those trucks, who knows. But obviously not what we were expecting. We purchased the truck on a Saturday and the dealership was already closed when we returned. However, I had Matt's phone number so I texted asking what we should do with it, and he immediately called, told us where to park it and where to leave the keys. Of course at this point my wife and I are incredibly stressed. But they said they'd get it looked at and make the repairs. They were quick to provide an initial diagnosis of it being the PCM (the main computer that controls the power train). However, they aren't a Ford dealership so it had to be taken to Ford to have it programmed by them. Matt was in communication with us the whole time offering updates. And when I'd get impatient and text for an update, he'd always respond with any info he had. Sadly, the PCM did not fix the issue, Ford said it would require additional parts. At that point, I felt like because it was an electrical issue, that they might be fishing for an answer as electrical gremlins can be incredibly hard to track down. Not that I think they were trying to put a bandaid on it, just that I didn't trust the type of issue it was having. So at this point, I requested that they take the truck back. And to my surprise, they were incredibly understanding and didn't fight me at all on the issue. When we went in to sign the paperwork canceling the loan, they were very gracious, and encouraged us to come back. Based on my experiences with other dealerships, that could have gone much worse. The last point I want to share is our dealership experience after McClinton. So far, we've only gone to one, Toothman and Sowers Ford in Fairmont. I've been to Ford dealerships before, and this one was no exception to my expectations. The salesman was incredibly pushy. And per their "gatekeeper" tactic of the loan officer sitting behind a tall desk that only the salesman gets to talk to, we'd sit at the salesmans desk while he would run back and forth hand writing numbers on a sheet of paper, hoping we'd take the monthly payment. They don't go through all the various stuff like an extended warranty, gap insurance, etc. They just throw everything on, write a payment on a sheet of paper, and have the salesman try to sell you on that number. I mean this when I say we felt dirty by the time we left. We didn't buy from them for that reason. To have such a contrasting experience between those two dealerships, I felt warranted sharing what we went through, but also how it was handled, and what the alternatives are. We'd definitely do business with McClinton again.
